Pamukkale means cotton castle and has been used as a natural spa since the second century BC, with  hot springs, travertines and terraces of carbonate minerals left by flowing water.

  1. Now you have my attention. Having been to Pamukkale, I know exactly where you were while taking this shot. And it’s a beautiful shot and an amazing place. Did you go to the spa? Swim in Cleopatra’s Bath? Tour the ruins of Hierapolis?
